The Department of Planning is a group of learners and researchers, educators and working planners, graduates and employers. The Department is one of Dehradun's most prominent and well-known colleges for planning professionals. The department's alumni hold key planning positions in numerous States of the nation and have made significant contributions to India's urban and regional planning and development. Employers and alumni value our experiential learning approach, and our students are involved with contemporary concerns like climate change, sustainability, and non-motorized transportation (walking and cycling).The Dev Bhoomi School of Architecture, Planning and Design, DBUU, created the Department of Planning in 2016. The School of Architecture, Planning, and Design is made up of the Departments of Planning, Architecture, and Design. The Department currently provides bachelor's and master's degree programmes in planning. The goal of the department of planning is to progress both theory and practice in order to build wholesome, just, and sustainable societies. Public, corporate, and nonprofit organisations, such as local governments, planning and consulting businesses, and non-profit organisations, are just a few of the places where planners work. A planner might also work with local residents, governing bodies, and other experts like architects, engineers, or public health officials.
